The kits comprise 30 x Kitronik Round 5V LED Matrix Lamp Kits and 3 x AA Battery Holders with Flying Leads 10 packs. The kits are ideal for designing compact lighting solutions that require a very bright light(the kit has a combined output of around 16,000 mCd). Combining the light kits and the battery holders makes sourcing components for lessons quick and removes any doubt as to what additional hardware the kit requires. This kit requires soldering.

The included round 5V LED matrix lamp Kits offer a bright light, which is compact and easy to mount. The unit is supplied with 9 white super flux LEDs. The unit incorporates current limit resistors, allowing it to be run from a 5V supply or 3 x AA batteries can be used (3 new batteries will last for around 5 hours).

Also included with the kit are 30 x 3xAA Battery Holders with built-in 150mm colour-coded flying leads. Features clip-in side holders for easy access to the battery compartment. The case is hard plastic and is resistant to sudden impacts and vibrations. An ideal way to power any project or circuit using AA batteries.
